Shikhaa, center for Integral Education, was established in the year 2005 by teacher educators who felt the need to evolve and progress in the field of teacher training. Today, the Shikshaa alumni represent a network of teachers who are sincere, dedicated, innovative, and committed towards the growing psychological demands of the child in the Early Childhood stage.

A Note From Head of Shikshaa
The curriculum for teacher training has been designed to enable teacher trainees to comprehend theoretical facts about children in their developmental stages. The curriculum enables trainees to recognize that children go through stages of readiness in the physical, cognitive, language, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of their development. The knowledge of the development in depth of these aspects of childhood is the basis of the teacher-training program facilitated at Shikshaa. Shikshaa aims to pass on its effectiveness to the changing society of children through the teachers it trains.
