Shikhaa, center for Integral Education, was established in the year 2005 by teacher educators who felt the need to evolve and progress in the field of teacher training. Today, the Shikshaa alumni represent a network of teachers who are sincere, dedicated, innovative, and committed towards the growing psychological demands of the child in the Early Childhood stage.

A. COURSE OBJECTIVES

To impart theoretical knowledge, methodology and understanding of Early Childhood Education based on the Play Way Method.

To develop the Integral faculties of the teacher trainees.

To provide intense practical training with children in preschools, special schools and balwadis.

To enable the teacher trainees to plan and administer an effective curriculum for the Early Childhood years.
B. QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for the one year Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education must be 12th std pass or graduates in any discipline.
