Shikhaa, center for Integral Education, was established in the year 2005 by teacher educators who felt the need to evolve and progress in the field of teacher training. Today, the Shikshaa alumni represent a network of teachers who are sincere, dedicated, innovative, and committed towards the growing psychological demands of the child in the Early Childhood stage.

Training Programs at Shikshaa
A. EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER EDUCATION
A one-year Diploma for young adults, who are graduates in any stream. They need to have a working knowledge of the English language.
B. FOUNDATION COURSE IN LEARNING DISABILITIES
This 6 month part time certificate course is for parents, teachers and others interested in comprehending the concept of Learning Disabilities.
C. CONSULTANCY
Sharing of information, resources and academic expertise, through conducting workshops and short term training programs.
D. DEVELOPING TRAINING MATERIAL AND TEACHING AIDS
A continuous program for developing indigenous and innovative teaching material and teaching aids for teachers and facilitators of Early Childhood.
E. ONLINE DISTANCE TRAINING
Teacher training provided by Shikshaa for groups of teachers via virtual classes.
F. PERSONAL COUNSELLING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Private sessions on request.
